Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• State licensure
• ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) certification
• Clinical fellowship or relevant experience is required for entry-level positions
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Nice To Haves

• Specialized experience in areas such as pediatric speech therapy, adult neurogenic disorders, or augmentative and alternative communication (AAC)
• Knowledge of assistive technology and innovative therapy techniques
• Bilingual proficiency

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to accurately determine clients' needs
• Develop tailored treatment plans based on assessment findings
• Provide individualized direct therapy services
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including Speech-Language Pathology Assistants, to ensure holistic care for clients
• Monitor and documenting client progress
• Educate clients and their families on strategies to enhance communication skills
• Staying current with research, best practices, and advancements in speech-language pathology
