About The Position

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital; Fort Smith Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), Inpatient Rehab, PRN Location: 6700 Chad Colley Boulevard, Fort Smith, AR 72916 Schedule: PRN | Flexible Hours As Needed | 1 weekend (Saturday or Sunday) a month and at least 1 holiday a year. How you’ll contribute The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates and treats individuals with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders, supporting patient recovery and communication improvement.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current SLP license and ASHA certification.
• CPR certification required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in acute or rehab setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
