As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play an important part in helping our patients at two rural hospitals for inpatient/outpatient and swing bed to recover and feel better about themselves by providing therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive and swallowing abilities. Highpoint Health - Trousdale with Ascension Saint Thomas and Highpoint Health - Riverview with Ascension Saint Thomas are both 25-bed critical access hospitals offering an extensive range of in-patient, outpatient and emergency services for adults and children. Critical access hospital simply means that the hospital is critical in providing healthcare to our community. We want our patients and their families to feel confident in the staff's ability to provide professional care, while assuring that their rights as individuals are respected. From the 24-hour emergency room to the state-of-the-art laboratory, x-ray, CT Scan and rehabilitation services, the hospital delivers emergency and routine medical care by highly trained physicians, nurses and allied health professionals using the latest technology.

Requirements

  • Current licensure in Speech-Language Pathology in Tennessee
  • Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellows are accepted
  • Inpatient/acute rehab experience preferred
  • BLS certification from an approved American Heart Association or American Red Cross training center must be obtained within 90 days of employment, if not current upon hire.
