Your Impact & Responsibilities: Comprehensive Evaluations: Evaluate, diagnose, and treat residents with complex speech, language, voice, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Treatment Innovation: Create and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance resident outcomes and overall quality of life. Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate, compliant clinical records and progress notes in accordance with state and federal guidelines. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with nursing, therapy, and dietary teams to manage resident safety and nutritional needs (including dysphagia management). Education: Provide vital education to residents, families, and facility staff on communication and swallowing safety strategies. Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active California SLP license in good standing.
- Excellent clinical reasoning and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- CCC-SLP preferred (Clinical Fellowship Year [CFY] candidates may be considered based on supervision availability).
- SNF experience is a major plus!
