TransPerfect Health is seeking an SLP who can work either two full days during the week or a few hours daily between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. The position is located at Holbrook Decatur—an upscale retirement community offering assisted living, independent living, and memory care—at 1882 Clairmont Road, Decatur, GA 30033, in the North Druid Hills area. Requirements

  • Current or eligible Speech Therapy license in the state of practice
  • Graduate of an accredited speech therapy program
  • ASHA accreditation or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, plan of care, and company policies
  • Help optimize functional independence, and quality of life for members of the aging population
  • Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner
  • Participate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education
  • In collaboration with the Director of Rehabilitation, develop robust therapy program
  • Follow all infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines
  • Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effectively prioritize patient care
  • Support compliance with all state and federal regulations
  • Perform duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical demands
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned
