Speech-Language Pathologist Job Type: Full-time Arbor Rehabilitation and Healthcare Services has the tools to ensure your success. We are currently seeking a committed and patient-focused Speech-Language Pathologist to develop, and implement individualized therapy programs designed to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance. You will offer effective and client-centered services that will enable people to confidently and independently carry out everyday tasks or activities. The successful candidate will have a holistic perspective and will be able to adapt the environment to fit the person.

Requirements

Valid license to practice speech therapy
Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred
Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, basic math skills.
Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude

Nice To Haves

Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred

Responsibilities

Assessing, evaluating, and treating short-term and long-term residents that would benefit from skilled speech-language pathology services
Completing quality and timely documentation, such as evaluations, re-certifications, and discharges
Conducting quarterly screens and/or evaluations on long-term residents
Assisting with insurance authorizations and appeals
Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Contributing to the overall needs of the facility and facility staff
