About The Position

Marin Post Acute is looking for a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dedicated rehabilitation team on a part-time basis. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current California SLP license
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Compassion for working with the elderly and rehabilitation patients

Nice To Haves

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience in a skilled nursing or post-acute setting is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate residents with speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide therapy services to help patients improve communication and swallowing abilities
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure the best patient outcomes
  • Educate patients, families, and staff on treatment strategies and care plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
