About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support a Special Education (SPED) program in Tucson, AZ. The SLP will provide comprehensive speech and language services to students, helping them develop communication skills that support academic success. This role includes evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, direct intervention, and collaboration with educators and families.

Requirements

Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License in Arizona
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field

Nice To Haves

1–2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualized speech and language treatment plans
Conduct screenings and comprehensive speech-language assessments
Prepare detailed evaluation reports and maintain required documentation
Assist in the development and implementation of IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
Provide direct therapy and instructional support to students
Apply a variety of therapeutic and instructional strategies
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents regarding student progress
Participate in continuing education and professional development
Support Medicaid in Public Schools (MIPS) activities as required
Perform additional related duties as assigned
