Requirements

  • Licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state of Alaska.
  • Strong in communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and your team.

Responsibilities

  • Assessing and developing personalized therapy plans for residents with communication and swallowing difficulties.
  • Collaborating with residents to help them achieve their goals and tracking their progress along the way.
  • Working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.
  • Educating and supporting residents and their families, empowering them to actively participate in the recovery process and achieve their highest potential.
