Requirements

Licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state of Alaska.
Strong in communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and your team.
Compassionate, with a deep commitment to improving the quality of life for those you work with.
A team player who can also work independently and thrive in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Assessing and developing personalized therapy plans for residents with communication and swallowing difficulties.
Collaborating with residents to help them achieve their goals and tracking their progress along the way.
Working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Educating and supporting residents and their families, empowering them to actively participate in the recovery process and achieve their highest potential.
