About The Position

We have contract positions open for supervision, evaluations &/or providing therapy. Evaluation, therapy & supervision caseloads predominantly consist of children with developmental disabilities and Autism of varying degrees. Patients include those with mild to severe challenges, verbal and nonverbal abilities, significant executive function disorders, infant & pediatric dysphagia, oral sensory-motor & feeding impairments, auditory processing disorders, voice & fluency impairments, cleft lip & palate, hearing impairments, language disorders, articulation & phonological processing impairments, AAC devices, and impaired ADLs & IADLs. The ages of patients range from newborn to 21 years old.

Requirements

• Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license or equivalent within the State of California
• 3+ years of pediatric Speech Therapy (ST) experience
• A reliable computer source to provide telehealth services
• Strong internet connection capable of supporting video conferencing
• Proficient computer skills

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to develop appropriate patient plans of care (POC)
• Conduct fun & effective treatment sessions
• Train and support Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) on effective treatment methodologies
• Create safe & positive environments conducive to learning appropriate to the maturity & interest of patients
• Maintain punctual schedules
• Collect & document accurate data
• Establish professional relationships with patients & their families
• Supervise SLPAs
• Communicate effectively with supervising SLP
• Provide co-treatment sessions with other disciplines
• Maintain a consistent evaluation, supervision &/or therapy caseload
• Provide telehealth services
