About The Position

We have contract positions open for supervision, evaluations, and/or providing therapy. Evaluation, therapy, and supervision caseloads predominantly consist of children with developmental disabilities and Autism of varying degrees. Patients include those with mild to severe challenges, verbal and nonverbal abilities, significant executive function disorders, infant and pediatric dysphagia, oral sensory-motor and feeding impairments, auditory processing disorders, voice and fluency impairments, cleft lip and palate, hearing impairments, language disorders, articulation and phonological processing impairments, AAC devices, and impaired ADLs and IADLs. The ages of patients range from newborn to 21 years old.

Requirements

• Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license or equivalent within the State of California
• 3+ years of pediatric Speech Therapy (ST) experience
• A reliable computer source to provide telehealth services
• Strong internet connection capable of supporting video conferencing
• Proficient computer skills

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to develop appropriate patient plans of care (POC)
• Train and support Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) on effective treatment methodologies
• Create safe and positive environments conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interest of patients
• Maintain punctual schedules
• Collect and document accurate data
• Collaborate with peers
• Communicate effectively with supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Provide co-treatment sessions with other disciplines
• Provide telehealth services
