About The Position

Theracare is seeking a Speech/Language Pathologist to join our dedicated therapy team at a busy Skilled Nursing Facility. The successful candidate will evaluate and treat patients based on physician orders, utilizing therapeutic procedures to improve speech, language, swallowing, and hearing disorders. This role involves working collaboratively with a team to provide support and information in the area of Speech/Language Pathology. Therapy services will be provided in various settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities, and Home Health Care. We offer a flexible schedule and easy access to local Regional Management Staff.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Current state license/certification.
• Minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation preferred.
• Excellent oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to provide therapy services in various locations.
• Demonstrate competency in applying principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in therapy.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.
