TransPerfect is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to build a strong Speech Language Therapy program. The role involves optimizing the functionality and skills of patients, evaluating and treating residents based on physician orders, and screening facility residents. The Speech Language Pathologist will complete all necessary documentation and attend required meetings and in-services, including family meetings and care plans. In conjunction with the Director of Rehabilitation, the candidate will develop programs tailored to the needs of facility residents through the continuum of care, ensuring compliance with infection control procedures and OBRA Resident’s Rights Guidelines. The position also includes providing consultation and clinical supervision to SLP-CFY, maintaining a valid state license, and managing the scheduling of residents. The Speech Language Pathologist will facilitate family and staff in-services and assist the facility in meeting standards necessary for state and federal certification.
