About The Position

Responsible to assess, diagnose, treat and help prevent speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, fluency and other related disorders. This position requires patient care.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech Therapy required.
• Speech-language Pathologist [State License] - Generic - HR Only required.
• 0-1 year of speech pathology experience preferred.
• 0-1 year of acute hospital experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Class D Passenger Vehicle Driver's License [State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology [CCC-A] - American Speech Language Hearing Association preferred.
• Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology [CCC-SLP] - American Speech Language Hearing Association preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Implement treatment plans through a variety of techniques and modalities.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and their families about speech and language disorders, and provide strategies for improving communication.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
