About The Position

As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) at AccentCare, you will be part of a purpose-driven, collaborative culture that sets the standard for excellence in home health care. This position is located in the Victoria office and is a PRN role, requiring you to work 1-2 days a week, Monday through Friday. You will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients in Victoria and the surrounding areas. Requirements

  • A degree and an internship from an approved master's program in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Meet the education and experience requirements for a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology, granted by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Certified to practice Speech-Language Pathology with a minimum of one (1) year's clinical experience.
  • Possess and maintain valid CPR certification while employed in a clinical role.
  • Valid driver's license and an insured automobile.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech-language pathology services to patients in their homes.
  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
