Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, ARU is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist-CFY (SLP-CFY) for a PRN / Varies position. Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders, or similarly titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
• Current Basic Life Support/CPR Card.
• Possess or eligible for a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or be eligible to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow (CFY).
• License or eligible for licensure in state.
• Strong communication skills and clinical judgement required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats individuals with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders, supporting patient recovery and communication improvement.
• Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
