Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (MA or MS)
• Active New York State SLP license
• ASHA Clinical Competence Certification (CCC)
• Strong communication skills and professional maturity

Responsibilities

• Evaluating residents and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their speech, language, and swallowing needs.
• Delivering engaging therapy sessions that drive real progress in communication and cognitive function.
• Coordinating audiometric screenings and referrals
• Collaborating with care teams and families to maximize outcomes
• Maintaining accurate progress notes and Medicare documentation
• Attending care planning and interdisciplinary meetings
• Providing in-service education for staff and contributing to program improvement
• Upholding safety standards while delivering care with dignity and respect
