About The Position

Theracare is seeking a Speech/Language Pathologist to join our dedicated therapy team in a Skilled Nursing Facility. This position is PRN, allowing for flexible scheduling. The Speech/Language Pathologist will evaluate and treat patients based on physician orders, utilizing therapeutic procedures to address speech, language, swallowing, and hearing disorders. The role involves collaboration with a team to provide support and information in the area of Speech/Language Pathology, with therapy services offered in various settings including Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities, and Home Health Care.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Current state license/certification.
• Minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation preferred.
• Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to provide therapy services in various locations.
• Demonstrate competency in applying principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in therapy discipline.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.
