We are seeking a PRN, licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our collaborative and high-energy rehabilitation team. Requirements

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification.
• Experience in evaluating and treating speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a rehabilitation setting.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to patient needs and in accordance with physician orders.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses and other health professionals, to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
• Provide essential training to patients, their families, and nursing staff on maintenance programs and care plans to ensure a smooth transition from therapy.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and participate in conferences to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with all state and third-party payer requirements.
• Relate positively and professionally with patients, families, and colleagues, fostering a supportive and effective therapeutic relationship.
