About The Position
Independence Rehab LLC is actively searching for a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist to join our experienced therapy team at South Ogden Post Acute in South Ogden, UT. At Independence Rehab, our goal in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) is to provide each patient with top-quality care. We strive to maximize each patient's functional independence to safely discharge her/him to the next level of care. We are a people-first organization. Really! Our guiding motto is leading with integrity, empowering people, delivering outcomes. No specific number of hours are required to maintain PRN employment. We have multiple facilities near this location, which may provide opportunities for you to pick up additional PRN hours, as desired. Here are a few preferred practice-specific competencies in a SNF setting: Dysphagia assessment & interventions Voice, communication, language, and cognition interventions
Requirements
- Current SLP license
- Master's Degree in SLP from an accredited College or University
- Organized, self-starter with a love for the geriatric population
Nice To Haves
- CCC's are preferred but we are happy to entertain CFY applicants. We have resources for supervision as needed
