About The Position

We are seeking a PRN, licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our collaborative and high-energy rehabilitation team. Your Impact Empower patients to thrive: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Create custom treatment plans: Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to patient needs and in accordance with physician orders. Promote collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses and other health professionals, to ensure holistic and coordinated care. Educate and prepare for success: Provide essential training to patients, their families, and nursing staff on maintenance programs and care plans to ensure a smooth transition from therapy. Drive quality outcomes: Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and participate in conferences to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Ensure compliance: Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with all state and third-party payer requirements. Cultivate a positive environment: Relate positively and professionally with patients, families, and colleagues, fostering a supportive and effective therapeutic relationship. The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) evaluates and treats patients, communicates with families, physicians and other health team members and maintains documentation of services in the medical records. Conducts inservices and training for facility staff on an ongoing basis.
