About The Position

The position involves evaluating all assigned patients and developing, implementing, and executing treatment plans as outlined by the plan of care. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services. Additionally, the role includes serving as an educator for patients, families, students, co-workers, and for self-professional advancement. Other professional duties associated with patient care, development of therapy program services, and engagement and development of interdisciplinary teams are also part of the job.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited program which meets the licensure requirements in the state of practice.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate all assigned patients and develop treatment plans.
• Implement and execute treatment plans as outlined by the plan of care.
• Delegate and direct all discipline-specific therapy services.
• Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and co-workers.
• Engage in professional development and advancement.
• Perform other professional duties associated with patient care and therapy program development.
