Metro's Speech Department continues to grow and we are looking for a dedicated per diem SLP to treat out of our beautiful outpatient clinic in Carroll Gardens (Brooklyn)! Our clinics enjoy a well-trained support staff, as well as a state-of-the-art space and equipment. Come be a part of a growing organization on a progressive, supportive, and innovative team! Job Type: Per Diem Pay rate: $65/hour Location: Brooklyn (Carroll Gardens) Schedule: Flexible! You will have full autonomy over your caseload.
Requirements
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New York or eligible.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience with BOTH pediatrics and adults populations
- Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications (live course)
Responsibilities
- Evaluates a patient's need for speech therapy and develop an appropriate treatment plan.
- Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care.
- Instructs family members, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate speech therapy techniques & HEP
