Speech Language Pathologist K-5 Boston Speech Therapy is excited to invite applications for the role of Speech Language Pathologist for grades K-5. In this position, you will provide essential speech and language services to students, helping them overcome communication challenges and enhance their academic success. This is a full-time position, a 1099 contract until the end of the year. As a speech-language pathologist at Boston Speech Therapy, you will work closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create individualized treatment plans that align with each student's unique needs.

Requirements

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist
Experience working with K-5 students and familiarity with the educational setting
Strong knowledge of assessment tools and therapy techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
Commitment to best practices in speech and language therapy

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of speech and language abilities.
Create and implement tailored treatment plans to address specific communication goals.
Provide direct therapy services to students, collaborating with teachers and staff to support their learning.
Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
Educate families about speech and language development and effective communication strategies.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive educational environment.
