The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for providing patients diagnostic and therapeutic services in the areas of speech and language development which may include help with social communication, speech sounds, and feeding/swallowing. Services are provided in the child’s natural environment; settings in which children typically spend time, for example, home or childcare. Services include screenings, evaluations, intervention, and parent education. Level III : Include all duties of Level II plus, this is a specialist level where incumbents are assigned responsibilities involving advanced level technical duties in Speech-Language Pathology. Incumbents at this level perform as consultants to other Speech-Language Pathologists and may be designated lead workers for other employees.
