About The Position

The Trimble County School District is seeking a Speech/Language Pathologist to work district-wide. This position is essential in providing support to students in developing their communication skills, which are critical for their academic success and overall development. The Speech/Language Pathologist will work collaboratively with teachers and staff to create a supportive learning environment for all students.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with K-12 students preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students to improve their communication skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students' communication needs in the classroom.
  • Monitor and document students' progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
  • Educate parents and staff about speech and language development and disorders.
