About The Position

Easterseals Florida is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our Pediatric Outpatient Therapy team. In this role, you will evaluate, treat, and support children with communication, feeding, and developmental needs while working alongside a multidisciplinary team committed to empowering families and improving outcomes.

Requirements

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current Florida licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Proficiency with basic computer applications and EMR systems
Flexibility, strong organizational skills, and commitment to professional growth
Demonstrates integrity, tact, and sound judgment
Ability to meet our approved driver qualifications in order to drive your personal vehicle, as required, for program-related needs (minimum age of 21 and good driving history)

Nice To Haves

Medicaid and National Provider Number (NPI) preferred
Previous pediatric experience preferred

Responsibilities

Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations for pediatric clients
Document evaluations, progress notes, billing, and treatment plans using EMR systems
Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans
Establish goals and measure progress according to the client’s Plan of Care
Manage assigned caseload efficiently and supervise SLPA(s)
Coordinate care with school staff, early intervention programs, case managers, parents/guardians, and clinical directors
Provide education and support to clients and families to promote carryover and success at home
