Position Details: This salaried Clinical Lead role includes up to a 75/25 clinical-to-leadership split, totaling 40 hours per week with flexible scheduling. Ideal candidates are motivated to mentor developing clinicians, foster clinical excellence, and support strong patient outcomes. ROLE OVERVIEW: SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST – CLINICAL LEAD The Clinical Lead (CL) provides thorough diagnostic evaluations for children referred with potential speech, language, hearing, or swallowing disorders. With physician approval, the CL implements individualized treatment plans to help each child reach their highest level of communication and independence. Beyond direct patient care, the CL supports the planning, organization, supervision, and delivery of speech services, and collaborates with occupational and physical therapy teams. Clinical Leads typically have 10–25% of their weekly schedule reserved for leadership duties, depending on clinic size, staffing, and specific responsibilities. Requirements

  • Master’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
  • Completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year + at least 1 year of experience as a CCC-SLP
  • Current Washington State SLP license
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, physicians, and clinical teams
  • Competence in treating pediatric and adolescent populations
  • CPR certification for all ages
  • Basic computer skills; Microsoft Word preferred
  • Passion for changing the lives of others
