About The Position

The Speech-Language Pathologist-Clinical Fellow will provide diagnosis and remediation to patients of various ages with disorders of communication and swallowing. They will also make appropriate referrals within the institution and to outside agencies as appropriate. Direct supervision will be provided according to the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) guidelines. The Speech-Language Pathologist-Clinical Fellow performs in a manner consistent with Marshfield Clinic Health Systems’ mission, policies and initiatives while maintaining patient confidentiality at all times. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Eligibility for the Clinical Fellowship Year Program.
  • Temporary Speech-Language Pathologist license awarded by the State of Wisconsin
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.
  • Employee may not at any time have been or be excluded from participation in any federally funded program, including Medicare and Medicaid. This is a condition of employment.
  • Employee must immediately notify his/her manager or the Health System’s Compliance Officer if he/she is threatened with exclusion or becomes excluded from any federally funded program.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.

  • Positions listed as 20 – 29 hours per week are offered the level 2 benefit package.
  • Positions listed as less than 19 hours per week are non-benefited.
