Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-C) to join our dynamic team at E-Therapy. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing speech and language therapy services to students in PreK-12 schools under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. #onsite

Requirements

  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Valid state licensure in state in which you work AND in which you reside or (eligibility for licensure upon completion of your CCCs).(depending on the state laws and regulations)
  • ASHA certification required or (upon your CCCs)
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Passionate about working with K-12 students
  • Knowledge of assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric speech-language pathology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and other assistive technology used in speech-language therapy (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
  • Contribute to the development of individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessment results and students' needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, addressing areas such as articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' communication goals in various educational settings.
  • Implement evidence-based techniques and therapeutic activities into therapy sessions to promote speech and language development.
  • Support the licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in monitoring students' progress and adjusting therapy plans as needed.
  • Assist in documenting therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and provide support as directed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
