About The Position

Speech Language Pathologist, Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) provides speech language therapy services to clinic patients.

Requirements

• None required. Has filed or has an approved plan for the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
• Master’s degree in Communicative Disorders or equivalent.
• None required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure and deadlines; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision.
• California license in Speech Pathology or has filed an approved plan for the RPE (Required Professional Experience); Eligible for or currently holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or has filed an approved plan for the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY); Basic Life Support (BLS).

Nice To Haves

• Conversational fluency in sign language or a second language, particularly Spanish or Vietnamese.
