Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Clinical Fellowship eligible (CFY / CF-SLP)
  • Florida SLP license (or in process)
  • Strong communication and time-management skills
  • Passion for working with geriatric and post-acute populations
  • Valid State Speech License and Credentials

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech-language pathology services in a Skilled Nursing & Assisted Living setting
  • Evaluate, treat, and document patient progress
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
  • Deliver patient-centered, evidence-based care
  • Complete CF requirements with structured support
  • Develop and administer therapy programs aimed at improving patients' physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
  • Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to create personalized treatment plans for patients.
  • Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare professionals regarding treatment plans and patient outcomes.
  • Continuously educate patients and their families on therapeutic procedures and techniques
  • Stay up to date with the latest therapy techniques and methodologies.
