About The Position
Adelphi is seeking bilingual (Spanish–English)Speech Language Pathologists to provide services to students at a school district in Katy, Texas. The ideal candidates will provide services to students, in accordance with established standards of care and in compliance with applicable policies and guidelines.
Requirements
- Active Texas License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence
- Knowledge of Texas Speech and Hearing Association guidelines
- Proven experience working with pediatric populations in school -based environment
- Master's Degree in Communication Disorders or related field
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and re -evaluations that shape individualized therapy plans.
- Engage individual and group therapy sessions that empower students to find their voice.
- Support communication growth by addressing expressive/receptive language, fluency, articulation, and social -pragmatic skills.
- Innovate with Augmentative and Alternative Communication strategies, designing and implementing tools and approaches that open new pathways
- Train teachers, staff, and families to use practical strategies that foster communication success across environments.
- Any other duties as assigned.
