Apply to be a Speech-Language Pathologist with Clear Creek ISD. Primary Purpose Plan and provide speech-language pathology services, including evaluations, as required to assist students with disabilities to benefit from special education. Qualifications Education/Certification Master’s degree or higher in speech-language pathology or equivalent from an accredited/approved college or university program, and Valid Texas license as a Speech-Language Pathologist granted by the Texas Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology, and CCC or TEA certification in Speech-Language Pathology Or Master’s degree or higher in speech-language pathology or equivalent from an accredited/approved college or university program, and Valid Texas license as an Intern in Speech-Language Pathology (CFY) to practice under supervision of CCC-SLP while completing the post-master’s degreed 36 week full-time internship Or Bachelor’s degree or higher in speech-language pathology or equivalent from an accredited/approved college or university program and Valid Texas license as a Speech-Language Pathologist granted by the Texas Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology, and TEA certification in Speech-Language Pathology Special Knowledge/Skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge and demonstrated competency in: speech-language pathology evaluation and therapy procedures for communication disorders; education of diverse student populations; and human development and learning theories Ability to instruct students and manage behavior Openness to change and innovation to meet the needs of all students Experience Minimum of one year supervised clinical speech-language pathology experience
