About The Position

Central Florida Therapy, a leading pediatric therapy clinic in Sanford, FL, is seeking a motivated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our growing team in our new location. In this role, you will support licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in providing high-quality therapy services to children with communication disorders. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field
• Active Florida SLPA license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Completion of required clinical fieldwork hours
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Reliable, professional, and child-centered in approach

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with pediatric populations preferred (clinical or internship experience considered)

Responsibilities

• Implement speech and language treatment plans developed by a supervising SLP
• Provide individual and small-group therapy sessions under the direction of a licensed SLP
• Assist with data collection, documentation, and tracking client progress
• Prepare therapy materials and maintain a positive, engaging treatment environment
• Collaborate with supervising SLPs and the multidisciplinary team to support treatment goals
• Communicate effectively with families regarding session activities and home practice, as directed by the supervising SLP
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinic, state, and payer requirements
