Responsibilities

Assists speech-language therapist in conducting client screenings or assessments of language, voice, fluency, and articulation.
Implements treatment plans or protocols as directed by speech-language therapists.
Collects and compiles data to document clients' performance or assess program quality.
Documents clients' progress toward meeting established treatment objectives.
Performs support duties such as preparing materials, keeping records, maintaining supplies, and scheduling activities.
Selects or prepares speech-language instructional materials.
Assists in the preparation of necessary paperwork for annual IEP, and also acting as a case manager.
Must hold a certificate Licensed by the State of Arizona Health Department as a Speech Language Assistant (SLP-A)
Performs other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor.
