Speech Language Pathologist Assistant
About The Position
This is a on-site role as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant located in the East Valley. Your day-to-day tasks may include conducting therapy sessions, documenting student progress, implementing treatment plans, and providing support to students under the supervision of certified speech language pathologist. This is a school based position. We have a part-time opportunity in San Tan Valley for 3-4 days per week. Our current SLPA has been with us for the past two school years and is very well loved by staff and students alike. She is expecting a baby in April and will also be graduating from her master’s program this spring, so we are looking for someone who can step in starting in April to support during her maternity leave. This is a great placement, and we have a long-standing, positive relationship with the school. Although this begins as a maternity leave position, we would absolutely love to find someone who would be interested in continuing with us into the next school year if it feels like a great fit. Requirements
- Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
- Knowledge of speech and language development, disorders, and therapy techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
