About The Position
Hi, SLPAs! Ampersand Therapy is hiring Speech-Language Pathologists Assistants (SLPAs) for a school-based position in Summerville, SC . You’ll support students by providing speech and language services that directly impact communication and learning. This role is ideal for both experienced and new SLPAs.
Requirements
- Valid South Carolina State SLPA license (or ability to obtain)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Nice To Haves
- School-based experience preferred, not required
Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy services in a K-12 school setting under supervision of an SLP
- Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
- Partner with teachers to support carryover of skills
- Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
- Monitor student progress and maintain communication with supervising SLP
