About The Position

This is a 10-month position with a 200-day contract for a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant within RCPS. The specific schools where services will be provided are yet to be determined. The role requires thorough knowledge of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures applicable to speech-language pathology services, as well as school division rules. The assistant must be able to deliver clear oral presentations and written reports and maintain effective working relationships with staff, administration, students, and parents.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of rules, regulations, policies and procedures applicable to the provision of speech-language pathology services
• Thorough knowledge of school division rules, regulations and procedures
• Graduate of an accredited college or university
• Hold an active BASLP license or be able to acquire the BASLP license

Responsibilities

• Deliver articulate oral presentations and written reports
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, administration, students and parents
