About The Position

We seek a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLP-A) to support licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering evidence-based, pediatric-focused care. This position is available in Washington, DC , Bethesda, MD , and Germantown, MD . Requirements

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistance or a related field.
Active Maryland SLP-A license.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Collaborative and family-centered mindset.
Comfortable with the physical requirements of pediatric care (kneeling, floor work, lifting 10+ lbs, etc.).

Nice To Haves

Previous pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist SLPs in administering speech and language screenings.
Implement therapy plans under SLP supervision for clients with communication disorders.
Deliver direct intervention services and support data collection.
Document session outcomes and client progress.
Communicate effectively with families and caregivers.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support holistic client care.
Comply with all clinical, ethical, and legal standards of practice.
Engage in ongoing training and continuing education.
