We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech and Life Skills Trainer to join our team and make a difference in the lives of those we serve. TO DO List: Monday: Tutor Carter with online high school classes and study skills. Tuesday: Training with Jack at the fire training center to practice skills to return to work as a firefighter. Wednesday: Assist Ashley in making snack bags for her 4-year-old son. Thursday: Drive Emily to Starbucks to practice speech strategies while ordering and during conversation. Friday: Collaborate with John’s clinical and residential teams to envision, and plan for life beyond QLI. This is a real snapshot of a typical week of a Speech and Life Skills Trainer at QLI! This is more than a fast-paced job brimming with variety, autonomy, and collaboration. Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Certified as a Nursing Assistant (required). We will provide PAID certification training, for the right candidate.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
Vaccination Requirements: Annual flu vaccine is required during flu season.
A drug screen and criminal background check are required.
Must not have any condition or limitation that could pose a direct threat to self or others unless such threat can be eliminated by a reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to pass a fitness assessment designated for this job title and perform all physical activities related to the position.
Regular attendance in your assigned role is an essential job function.
