The Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) will work collaboratively with a dynamic team to support the delivery of speech-language therapy services. This role involves developing therapy materials for both verbal and non-verbal learners, including assets for AAC devices, visual icons, and communication boards. The SLPA will implement and follow treatment plans established by the supervising Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). Additionally, the SLPA will deliver tailored speech-language therapy to meet the needs and functional levels of students, while fostering resilience and positivity among families and students. Accurate documentation of therapy goals and progress is essential, as well as managing time off requests during school breaks to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
