About The Position

At Anastasia Care Early Intervention Services birth-3, we strive to support every therapist and assist all therapists in meeting their professional and personal goals as well. At this time we are seeking qualified Speech and Language Pathologists SLP for our home based early intervention program throughout Philadelphia County. Our Speech and Language Pathologists SLP can choose the number of hours, location, and time of day they prefer to work. All candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, be highly motivated, and have experience working with young children with disabilities and developmental delays. Job Type: Independent Contract Salary: commensurate with experience

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited university with an MA, or M.S. in communication disorders that is recognized by ASHA.
  • Holds current license and/or registration in the state (as applicable).
  • Successful completion of Clinical Fellow-YSPE
  • Employee should be able to transfer patients, lift weights, transport patients and perform treatment on the mat.
  • Employee should be knowledgeable in and exercise good body mechanics during patient treatment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Early Intervention preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Document findings timely, accurately and adhering to all practice guidelines.
  • Provide a comprehensive service and support plan including IFSP/IEP goals
  • Adhere to frequency, duration and appropriate treatment guidelines as indicated
  • Provide comprehensive treatment to infants and toddlers utilizing modalities to promote developmental growth in natural environments
  • Document patient’s progress on session notes and during quarterly/annual meetings, as dictated by county and state guidelines
  • Modify treatment goals as indicated, on appropriate forms and in a timely manner.
  • Complete all training requirements as indicated by state and county guidelines
  • Document patient’s discharge and complete all exit data paperwork as indicated by state and local guidelines
  • Document any family/caregiver training as indicated.
  • Complete any and all documentation forms required by the company and state/local early intervention guidelines
  • Document plans and information needed for team meetings.
  • Attend and participate in meetings as indicated by state and local program requirements
  • Complete billing logs and bill patients ethically and accurately for speech therapy services rendered.
  • Cover other therapists’ Family’s caseload during absence as necessary.
  • Maintain professional relationship with co-workers and families.
  • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Comply with all state and federal laws
  • Report to work on time, adhere to scheduled hours and project a professional image at all times.
  • Adhere to productivity requirements, complete productivity reports and submit in a timely manner.
  • Complete at least 36 supervised hours as per PA reg 45.20
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by demonstrating and communicating in a professional manner so as to foster positive relations with families, educators, clients, co-workers and managers.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to any and all company written and oral policies and procedures.
  • Company may request your availability to travel within reasonable distances.
