About The Position

Get ready to take center stage as a part time Speech and Language Pathologist with our multi-disciplinary team at our ABA School in Mansfield, MA! This is a part-time position within a newly developing program. The role offers an exciting opportunity to help shape and grow the program from the ground up, with the expectation that it will expand into a full-time position as services and enrollment increase. The Speech Language Pathologist ensures that language services are provided on a consult basis in a progressive and thorough manner to meet the needs of the students served in the school and home programs. Get Ready to Transform: Your Role in Action: Provide a combination of direct and indirect services to children with a variety of communication goals in their Individualized Education Plans Work with individuals on the Autism spectrum, including those with significant challenging behaviors Collaborate with the Allied Health Team (Including SLPs, SLPA,s, OT’s, and PT), educational teams, behavioral teams, family services, nursing, etc. Implement physical management procedures as needed, using Safety Care Conduct assessments, train direct service staff, and provide ongoing consultation to staff in regards to each student’s speech and language needs Conduct applied research

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved program in Speech Language Pathology
  • Valid and current license as an SLP in Massachusetts
  • ASHA certified with a certificate of Clinical Competence

Responsibilities
