About The Position

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology or a related field
- State certification or licensure as a speech and language pathologist
- Experience working with high school-aged children
- Familiarity with various speech and language disorders and their interventions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and fellow educators
- Ability to collaborate with other professionals, including teachers, special education staff, and administrators
- Patience and empathy when working with students facing speech and language challenges
- Flexibility to adapt interventions based on individual student needs
- Proficiency in using relevant technology and tools for assessment and therapy
- Adherence to ethical standards and codes of conduct in the field of speech and language pathology
- Possesses extensive knowledge of needs, behavior, and growth patterns of children ages 14-18
