Speech and Language Pathologist MEA/IEA position – 187 day calendar POSITION SUMMARY: The speech and language pathologist engages in educational services, including assessment, planning, and treatment through direct and consultation services for students with communication challenges from infancy through adulthood. Services will be provided based on the best available evaluation data, research, evidence-based practices, expert professional judgment, and consideration of individual needs. This speech and language pathologist will provide services to students attending Woodland Developmental Center and approximately a day a week at the Center-Based Behavior program working with students who have conditions that are cognitively, physically, developmentally, or emotionally challenging while focusing on improving their ability to communicate, function productively and perform tasks in their educational environment.
