About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week travel assignment in Saint Joseph, MO. Assignment: Days, 8-hour; 8 hr days, 40 GWW Start Date: 3/16/2026 Contract: 13 weeks Location: Saint Joseph, MO Weekend Requirements: Occasional Nonbillable Hours: 8 hours of initial hours Speech therapists develop treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive and communication abilities, and to decrease aspirations. Communication treatment plans may include techniques that not only help the individual to be better understood, but also to help them better understand others. Leads, guides, and directs the delivery of speech language pathology and audiology services in the facility in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations, standards, and established facility policies and procedures to provide appropriate care and services to residents. The Speech-Language Pathologist must possess: A valid, unrestricted license in his/her therapy discipline in the state. Meet the educational requirements of his/her licensure requirements. Valid driver’s license Knowledgeable of skilled nursing home regulations, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines about long-term care.

Requirements

1 year of SLP experience is required
LTC or Rehab experience is required
MO State License is required
CCC certified SLP is required
Will accept one Reference at the time of submission
Must be submitted at the posted rate; if the requested rate is higher candidate will be redirected
Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
Drug screen and background check (facility required)
Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned

Responsibilities

Ensures work area meets appropriate standards of safety, equipment supply, and cleanliness levels.
Manually enters data, ensuring proper preparation for dictation and billing.
