About The Position

ESY 2026 - Speech and Language Pathologist- SLP (3 Positions Total - K-8) Qualifications (Required): Valid License as a Speech and Language Pathologist Successful teaching experience. Experience implementing direct speech services, including articulation, receptive and expressive language needs, and social communication. Ability to relate /communicate effectively with teachers, students, parents, and administrators. Teachers must commit to being present for each day of the program. See dates below for more info. Qualifications (Preferred): Experience working in the Malden Public Schools. SEI Endorsement. Duties and Responsibilities: Plan and implement ESY Curriculum for students on IEP’s. Complete planning logs for each session and maintain student attendance records. Keep folders/portfolios with student work. Perform other related activities as required by the Program Coordinator. Develop Progress Reports at the end of the ESY Program. Duration: Program Administration and Implementation 103 hours total to include the following: Professional In-service Days (Date TBD 3 hours). 20 days, Monday-Thursday, from July 1– August 1 (7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.). Stipend: $40 an hour, $4,120 total (20 days/5 hrs + 1 inservice at 3 hours) Funding Source: Special Education To Apply: Apply formally on School Spring.
