Qualifications: ●Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology ●Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education certificate endorsement as a speech-language pathologist. ●Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing ●Association (ASHA) is required. ●Experience in a school setting preferred with children on the Autism Spectrum and School-Based Therapy. ●Treat a diverse caseload of students, including those diagnosed with language disorders, hearing impairment, speech delays, autism, and TBI. ●Provide speech and language screenings and comprehensive evaluations for students in Preschool through Grade 6. ●Determine eligibility from EI placement to school-based services ●Development of Individualized Education Programs, and active participation in team meetings ●Knowledge and use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication supports (e.g., PECS, communication boards, core vocabulary, TouchChat, Proloquo2Go) ●Consult with staff and parents when appropriate ●Communicate information, provide support/strategies to parents and families to facilitate the generalization of skills ●Provide written documentation outlining progress for each student on the caseload ●Knowledge and implementation of vocabulary from the social thinking curriculum
