As a collaborative member of the Special Education team, this person will be responsible for teaching, evaluating and implementing programming for severe significant needs students utilizing inclusion practices whenever possible; have working knowledge of effective behavior techniques and Autism instruction and intervention; consult with Special and Regular Education teams; daily collects and tracks student academic and behavior data; performs continuous management of caseload, i.e. IEP documents and meetings, parent communication, behavior plans, trains and supervises paraprofessional staff in one on one instruction of students; meets professional obligations as determined by district and site. ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Occasional lifting, five (5) to ten (10) pounds • Frequent sitting and standing • Occasional bending and squatting
